Last updated: 24 October 2026

Welcome to Travel Art Club. These Terms of Service explain the conditions under which you may browse our website and purchase our products.

Travel Art Club is operated by Robert George Smith, a sole trader trading as Travel Art Club in the United Kingdom.

Throughout these Terms of Service, references to "Travel Art Club", "we", "us" and "our" mean Robert George Smith, trading as Travel Art Club.

By placing an order through our website, you agree to these Terms of Service. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

1. About Our Products

Travel Art Club sells travel-inspired wall art, including posters and graphic prints, through our online store.

Our posters are generally produced to order by third-party professional printing and fulfilment partners, including Gelato.

We aim to display product descriptions, sizes, colours and images as accurately as possible. However, slight differences may occur between the colours displayed on your screen and the finished printed product due to monitor settings, printing processes and materials.

Such differences do not affect your rights where products are faulty, misdescribed or do not conform to the contract.

Unless otherwise stated, products are sold unframed and without accessories or decorative items shown in lifestyle photographs.

2. Ordering and Contract Formation

By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to use your selected payment method.

When you purchase products through our website, your contract of sale is with Robert George Smith, trading as Travel Art Club.

After placing an order, you will receive an automated confirmation email containing your order details.

A contract for the sale of goods is formed when we accept your order, normally by sending an order confirmation email.

We may contact you if we discover an issue with an order, including product unavailability, incorrect pricing or incomplete delivery information.

Where we cannot fulfil an accepted order, we will offer an appropriate resolution, including a refund where required.

We will not change the agreed price or material terms of an accepted order without your agreement.

3. Prices and Payment

Product prices are displayed on our website in pounds sterling (GBP).

Any applicable taxes, shipping charges and other mandatory costs will be disclosed before you complete your purchase.

Payment must be authorised through one of the payment methods available at checkout.

Payments are processed through Shopify and its supported payment providers. We do not ordinarily receive or store your complete payment card details.

We may change product prices or promotions at any time, but changes will not affect orders already accepted at an agreed price.

If an obvious pricing error occurs, we may contact you to explain the issue and seek your agreement to the correct price. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

4. Production and Fulfilment

Many Travel Art Club products are printed individually after an order is placed.

We use Gelato, a third-party print-on-demand production and fulfilment provider, to manufacture and dispatch our wall art products.

Gelato works with a network of professional printing partners. Production may take place at different facilities depending on product specifications, availability and delivery requirements.

Production times may vary depending on the product, size and fulfilment location.

We will take reasonable care in arranging the production and delivery of your order.

The fact that a product is printed on demand does not, by itself, remove any applicable statutory cancellation or return rights.

5. Shipping and Delivery

We currently accept orders for delivery within the United Kingdom.

Shipping charges and available delivery methods are displayed before payment.

Estimated delivery dates are provided in good faith and may vary due to production schedules, carrier operations or other circumstances.

We will fulfil our delivery obligations in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Unless a different delivery period has been agreed, orders will generally be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days of the contract being formed.

If your order is delayed, missing or undelivered, please contact us at info@travelartclub.com so we can investigate and arrange an appropriate resolution.

For consumer purchases, responsibility for goods lost or damaged in transit generally remains with us until the goods come into your physical possession, or that of a person you have nominated, subject to applicable legal exceptions.

Your statutory rights relating to late delivery and non-delivery remain unaffected.

Further information about production and delivery times is provided in our Shipping Policy, where available.

6. Cancellations, Returns and Refunds

Our Refund Policy explains how to request cancellations, returns, refunds and remedies for damaged or incorrect products.

You can view it at:

https://travelartclub.com/policies/refund-policy

For eligible standard products purchased by customers in the United Kingdom, you have a statutory 14-day change-of-mind cancellation period beginning when the goods are received.

You can exercise your right to cancel by emailing info@travelartclub.com with a clear statement that you wish to cancel.

A model cancellation form is also available in our Refund Policy.

In many cases, we may issue a refund without requiring the original poster to be returned.

Where a physical return is required, we will provide return instructions. Customers are responsible for the direct cost of return postage on change-of-mind cancellations where this has been properly disclosed and is permitted by law, unless we agree otherwise.

Standard Travel Art Club designs printed on demand are not automatically excluded from statutory cancellation rights simply because they are produced after an order is placed.

Goods made to a customer's specifications or clearly personalised may be excluded from the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right, where the relevant legal conditions are met.

Products that are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer protection law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Nothing in these terms limits any statutory right to cancel or obtain a refund, repair, replacement or other remedy.

7. Exchanges

We do not currently offer direct exchanges for change-of-mind purchases, including changes to poster size, design or colour.

If you wish to purchase a different product, you may request cancellation of an eligible order and place a new order.

This does not affect your legal rights to appropriate remedies for faulty, damaged or misdescribed products.

8. UK Orders

Travel Art Club currently sells and delivers products to customers within the United Kingdom.

All orders are subject to the consumer protection laws applicable to UK customers.

If we expand our delivery services to other countries in the future, we may update these Terms of Service and our related policies to reflect additional legal and operational requirements.

9. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the artwork, designs, photographs, graphics, text, branding, logos and other original content displayed on the Travel Art Club website are owned by us or used under appropriate licence.

Purchasing a physical poster does not transfer copyright or other intellectual property rights in the artwork.

Our products are intended for personal display and enjoyment, subject to applicable law.

You may not reproduce, commercially distribute copies of, or otherwise commercially exploit our protected artwork without the permission of the relevant rights holder, except where permitted by law.

You may not use our trademarks or branding in a way that falsely suggests endorsement, affiliation or authorisation.

Nothing in these terms restricts your lawful right to resell a genuine physical product you have purchased.

10. Website Use

You agree to use our website lawfully and in a manner that does not interfere with its operation or other users.

You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, systems or customer accounts.

  • Introduce malicious software or interfere with website security.

  • Use the website for fraudulent or unlawful transactions.

  • Misuse our intellectual property in violation of applicable law.

We may take reasonable steps to protect our website and customers against misuse.

11. Product Availability and Website Accuracy

We make reasonable efforts to keep product listings, descriptions, availability and pricing accurate.

Occasionally, information may contain errors or become outdated.

We may correct website errors, update product information or discontinue products.

Where an error affects an order already accepted, we will contact the customer and resolve the matter in accordance with applicable consumer law.

We will not rely on website errors to remove rights or obligations that have already arisen under an accepted contract.

12. Promotions and Discount Codes

From time to time, we may offer promotions, discounts or special offers.

Promotional offers may be subject to additional conditions, including expiry dates, eligible products and usage limits.

Any material conditions will be communicated when the promotion is offered.

Unless otherwise stated, promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash.

We reserve the right to withdraw or correct promotions that have not yet resulted in an accepted order, subject to applicable law.

13. Privacy and Personal Information

We process personal information to operate our store, fulfil orders, provide customer support, conduct permitted marketing activities and meet our legal obligations.

Robert George Smith, trading as Travel Art Club, is the data controller responsible for personal information processed in connection with Travel Art Club, except where another organisation acts as an independent data controller.

Our website is powered by Shopify, and we use Gelato for print-on-demand production and fulfilment.

We may share relevant information with Shopify, payment processors, printing partners, delivery providers and other service providers where necessary to operate our business and fulfil purchases.

Shopify Services and Network Intelligence

Our online store uses Shopify's ecommerce platform, including services and features that may involve the processing of customer information.

We have enabled Shopify Network Intelligence, which allows Shopify to use information about customer interactions with our store and other participating Shopify merchants to provide and improve certain services.

Depending on the services and features available, this may include enhancing shopping experiences, supporting fraud prevention, improving advertising relevance and providing insights that help merchants operate their businesses.

Shopify may process personal information for these purposes in accordance with its applicable privacy policies and legal responsibilities.

Where required by law, non-essential advertising cookies and tracking technologies are subject to customer consent.

We handle personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

14. Third-Party Services and Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or use services provided by third parties, including Shopify, payment providers and Gelato.

Third-party websites may have their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for the independent content or operation of third-party websites that we do not control.

However, using third-party services to fulfil orders does not remove our legal responsibilities to customers.

15. Liability

We are responsible for losses and damage caused by our breach of contract or failure to exercise reasonable care and skill where required by law.

We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or rights and remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under consumer protection legislation.

We are not responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable consequences of our breach, except where the law provides otherwise.

We do not generally supply our products for commercial or business use. Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

Occasionally, circumstances beyond our reasonable control may affect production, delivery or website availability.

These may include severe weather, natural disasters, transport disruption, industrial action or significant failures affecting third-party services.

We will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and communicate material delays where appropriate.

This section does not remove or restrict any statutory rights relating to delivery, cancellation or refunds.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our business operations, website functionality or legal requirements.

The latest version will be published on our website with an updated revision date.

Changes will generally apply to future orders and will not retrospectively alter the terms of an existing purchase without the customer's agreement, except where permitted or required by law.

18. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Nothing in these terms prevents consumers from exercising any mandatory legal protections or rights to bring proceedings in courts available to them under applicable law.

If you have a complaint or dispute concerning an order, please contact us first at info@travelartclub.com.

We will make reasonable efforts to resolve complaints fairly and promptly.
